Policies

Privacy policy.

Effective July 20, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy describes how information is handled on thekeytone.com. It covers the website only. Health information created or received in the course of care or a medico-legal evaluation is covered separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information we collect

The site collects information in two ways. First, when you submit one of our forms (the contact form or the CV request form), we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if provided, your role, and your message. Second, our hosting provider automatically keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested. The site does not use advertising trackers and does not set cookies for analytics or marketing.

Please do not submit sensitive medical information through the website. The forms are for scheduling requests and general correspondence.

How we use it

We use form submissions to respond to you: to answer questions, coordinate scheduling, and review CV requests. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who processes it

Form submissions and site hosting are processed by Netlify, our website host, which stores submissions so we can read and respond to them. If your request involves scheduling a QME, AME, or SIBTF evaluation, we may refer the request to The Guardian Group, the management company that handles that scheduling. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold from your website submissions, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it: admin@thekeytone.com or (650) 229-7395. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to know and the right to delete; we honor requests from any visitor regardless of residence.

Retention and security

We keep form submissions as long as needed to handle your request and for our business records, then delete them. We use HTTPS across the site. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, which is one more reason not to submit medical details through the site.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: admin@thekeytone.com or (650) 229-7395.
